Howard was one of the warmest and loveliest people I have ever had the good fortune to meet. I had the pleasure of working with him on and off over the years and loved our chats about cycling, history and hearing all about his family, who he always lit up when talking about. When chatting with Howard, everything felt calm. He held so much space for whoever he was talking to, and his contemplative approach and tones were just so joyful and engaging. I feel privileged and thankful to have known him xx

So sad to hear the news of Howard’s passing, and struggling to find the words to do him justice…something he himself never struggled with! I had the pleasure of working with Howard lots over my career, he was obviously an amazing creative thinker but he was also a great friend, who always had the time to chat, always listened to your point of view and always built you up, never ever put you down…even if the idea you had was bobbins! He was a true gent, and the love he had for his family was evident. Thinking of them all at this time, RIP Howard xx
